The Deanna De Capio Ovarian Cancer Foundation.

Deanna was a loving and devoted wife and mother. In April of 1997 she was diagnosed with stage III ovarian cancer. Eight hard fought years later she lost her battle. She was a very strong person, who never complained and never gave up hope. She dedicated her life to helping others, a R. N. for over twenty years. After her passing we decided to carry on with helping others as she would have done. We decided to bring a little joy into the lives of others. Through the foundation, we deliver small baskets of joy to those who need it the most. Patients of Hospice, in Chemotherapy, and home care patients that need a smile. Our baskets contain items that may be used in their care. Also some fun things that will bring a smile to their face. Through donations from many friends and loved ones we have delivered over 350 baskets. The happiness we have brought to others in Deanna’s name is unparalleled. We wish to continue this for many years to come. And to keep Deanna’s work and name alive. Any donation can be made to the Deanna De Capio Ovarian Cancer Foundation.
